A JOURNEY FOR CARE PROVIDERS

Designed and held by healthcare professionals for healthcare professionals, this immersive program invites us to explore the place of expanded states of consciousness in our professional practice and personal lives.

Branch In Sunlight

A circle of peers

The program begins with experience.
Over three days, we step out of our usual roles and into a dedicated space where we can be held, slow down, and reconnect with ourselves within a circle of peers.
Guided by our team of psychiatrists, doctors and psychotherapists, this weekend immersion makes room for embodiment, ceremony, inner exploration and shared experience.

Into Practice

From there, we turn towards professional practice.
A concentrated series of online seminars extends the immersion into our clinical work, exploring psychedelic-informed care, harm reduction, and somatic, embodied and creative approaches.
The aim is not simply to add knowledge, but to bring our own experience into dialogue with our professional practice, asking what expanded states of consciousness might open in the way we understand and support our patients, ourselves, our relationships, and communities.

Montserrat Valley, Spain

Three days of shared experience, embodiment, ceremony, inner exploration, nature, reflection and integration, held within a small circle of peers.

Lisa Wessing Headshot.png
Lisa Wessing (MSc)

A clinical psychologist whose work is grounded in a deep curiosity about human experience. Drawing on psychology, anthropology, and integrative psychotherapy, she combines humanistic, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches, including Hakomi, Compassionate Inquiry, and Harm Reduction Psychotherapy. Her work with psychedelics began in harm reduction within recreational settings and evolved into substance use therapy, group facilitation in psychedelic retreats, and the development and delivery of professional training programs in psychedelic-assisted support. Her academic research includes phenomenological analysis of therapeutic processes in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Her learning within indigenous contexts allows for a comprehensive view upon the psychedelic field. Across her work, she seeks to bridge clinical knowledge, embodied experience, and diverse perspectives on what it means to be human.

Dr. Julia Javkin

A physician, psychiatrist, and acupuncturist who serves as a bridge between clinical medicine and somatic wisdom. Grounded in Gestalt therapy, her holistic approach weaves together movement therapy, somatics, acupuncture, and care with psychedelics, always guided by deep listening to the body. Through somatic techniques and embodied practices, she supports emotional healing, trauma integration, and the exploration of expanded states of consciousness. Her work bridges the rigor of clinical medicine with the wisdom of the body, offering a nonjudgmental space where each person is met exactly as they are.

Dr. Juan Paris

Studied to be a philosopher and then became a physician, psychiatrist, and psychotherapist, trained in adult and young people’s psychiatry. A Venezuelan currently based in Barcelona, he has worked across Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East, focusing on migration, violence, and trauma. His practice integrates general psychiatry, psychotherapy based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the therapeutic use of expanded states of consciousness; he is trained in Augmented Psychotherapy and psychedelic integration. He works in Barcelona’s public health system with migrant populations, in psychedelic clinical research, and in his private practice. His interest is in working at the intersections and crossroads where human suffering occurs, and the intersections and crossroads where we find relief and healing.

Dr. Arturo Rodarte

Trained in allopathic western medicine, psychedelic assisted therapy as well as in Mexican indigenous healing practices, he is interested in the point where ancient wisdom and modern technologies converge and are able to support each other on behalf of health and well being. He believes that healing is an individual task, yet a collective effort, and therefore believes in the importance of supporting each other on the long journey of deconditioning the oppressive patterns of thought, as we transition from suffering to self realization.
